I am a real American!

This is Joe D at West Herr Ford. You need 3 ball joints, 2 tires, new emergency brakes! Me half asleep. What are you talking about? You need 3 ball joints, 2 tires and new emergency brakes. Me:  don't touch my truck. Him: To F'ing late I removed the inspection sticker. Me: mother f'er your not allowed to do that anymore. Him: Ha ha what the heck you going to do about it. I'm going to f'in get you mother f'er if you touch anything on that truck! Call me up when I'm sleeping and hold my f'ing truck hostage, talk to me like I'm some asshole, f me over, f you, their ain't a thing wrong with that truck. Mother f'er they changed the law so you cant remove the inspection sticker anymore!

Now this is using your head (actually my head and brain's, but I'm glad the NY power authority and NY Governor grasps what I pointed out  old story: It is always 50% more efficient to use the cheap hydro electricity locally!).

WGRZ.com The Power Authority says low-cost hydropower may help Sunworks Solar build a $200 million solar panel manufacturing plant here, along with more than 100 jobs. The NYS power authority should be dolling out low cost power to companies that open eco friendly manufacturing plants that manufacture solar power equipment and wind power and all alternative fuels and also electric cars manufactured and assembled here close to the source of that power in WNY. I call it the: *** ****** ********** ****** ™! (have to get website name registered). This way we are using eco friendly power, any power that when transmitted long distances looses a great deal of that energy threw heat loss to make eco friendly energy solutions that can be used where needed close to the source.  If we eliminate the biggest part of the thermal loss by changing to close or at  source electrical power generation we reduce our carbon out put by not having to build coal fire electric plants that pollute and no one wants in their back yard or close to the source of consumption because of the eye sore and logistics of rail shipping to these plants.( In all actuality building coal plants near the source of consumption would also be better than building away from the source and cut carbon emissions in half). Its smart energy planning seek reduction in energy use by limiting losses due to thermal dynamics by the use of eco friendly energy at the source to make eco friendly energy generating products that can be used at the source (away from the production source of these products) further reducing energy loss threw thermal dynamics and the biggest plus no pollution and a carbon footprint decrease everywhere implemented! E-ZPass has to apologize to drivers real fast Glitch caused it to cite 3,600 for speeding by Buffalo news the funny thing is that EZpass claims this has never happened before but we all know I busted them in 2007 for doing this to me and for using faulty equipment that's only designed to measure average speeds of traffic not accurate speed.  http://coppersneak.com/ez_pass.htm  Bennett of EZpass said he is unaware of any other recent E-ZPass malfunctions in Western New York,

Yahoo news...MRAP trucks: Afghan savior or boondoggle? I saw this article and I have a couple things to say. This truck and life saving equipment for the Marines and our soldiers are great! This thing is good! The only thing I would suggest is that they take a modular approach to vehicles and start with a vehicle with a flat box frame at least 6-8ft off the ground, and then have modules like the V hull that deflects IED blast that bolt under when needed. Military Vehicles should be modular including MRAP's

You see all bill collectors think they are above the law ( most do) doing skip tracing it is standard MO for all of them to impersonate police officers... With the click it or ticket commercials running on TV this summer, as a passenger in you have the choice to use or not use a seat belt, if you don't use it the driver doesn't get the ticket. Last year there was a movie out and it stared DeNiro and Pacino and there was a line in it: Not everyone respects the badge, but they all respect the Gun. It seems like a logical conclusion and a true statement, but  it's wrong! Not everyone respects the Badge and not everyone respects the gun!

The Good.....

What is a good cop, police officer?

While hold on to your seats, I figured out today after talking to that sheriff deputy, what a good police officer is. In my opinion a good cop is a police officer that doesn't allow people to push his buttons and can remain objective during the situation at hand. He holds himself together and doesn't fall apart out in the field. He might go to the station house or talk to his police buddies and bitch about the situations that took place and blow off steam, but when he's out doing his job he doesn't over react and is calm and detached from the action he's intervening into or the situation he's interrupting and the situation he is creating.

I am going to say that a good cop should be like the sheriffs deputy in the 7th floor PT 15- 2 PM on January 9th, 2007.

Police Departments Accredited by CALEAÒ * like the Elmira NY* this is a very useful  and well designed website. "The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEAÒ), was established as an independent accrediting authority in 1979 by the four major law enforcement membership associations: International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP); National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE); National sheriffs' Association (NSA); and Police Executive Research Forum (PERF)."*

I have found that more affluent areas of the country the police treat non-criminals better. (Montgomery County Maryland), Amherst NY , also Utah, and NV.

Below I had previously floated the theory that in communities where police treat the general public and business's fairly and practice integrity, the police actually stimulate economic growth and wealth and prosperity. Well it seems that Calea® agrees with me and actually out of the 10 Best Cities to live in 2006, a big 8 cities out of the 10 cities best to live in police departments are Calea®  accreted and Calea®  makes a like connection or conjecture close to that I had previously made below.

A smart group of cops I would say! Actually, I will go one step further and say that communities where police treat the general public and small business owners more fairly and practice integrity actually stimulate economic growth and wealth by not burdening the honest or good intending populace and businesses with the damage cause by investigations of what should be civil matters. This increases the tax base over the long run. Lets face it, the only people that can survive such investigations whatever the out come is, are companies with unlimited resources. I will say the Amherst NY detectives are a smart bunch of guys when judging civil or criminal and waste of time or malicious prosecution and its not that I haven't butted heads with them over things, but if you talk to them they seem to be able to figure what's what and back off if their first response was wrong. This is what  some cops can't seem to do.

Some police departments are hard on criminals such as Las Vegas Metro Police, but fair to non criminals.

I find that State Troopers are the most professional and responsive to dealing with the general public.

I am also going to say I am really impressed with the NFTA WNY Cops when I had a problem with a traffic person, actually persons at the Airport( they looked like prison convicts and where rude and yelling at everyone), the Chief: Joseph Riga actually called me, listened to what I said, addressed my concerns and made the appropriate changes and they the traffic people are much more professional now. They actually have a complaint form on their web site, departments that have a complaint process that they don't hide are committed to integrity and professionalism.

Some people will disagree, but I think the Buffalo NY cops are cool. They don't hassle you for speeding unless you run them off the road. If you have a party they may bust in and they break it up and let everyone go, and if your straight with them they may laugh, but they will let you go and their pretty good judges of character. They don't bother with minor stuff and are usually pretty good with the general public.

Somebody might be saying the Buffalo police just shot an un armed black kid. To that I say this is why we need cameras in all police vehicles. Further I'm going to say to me in my opinion it looks like an accidental shooting. Listening to the News today 7/6/2007  it turns out this kid and other kids where shooting at a van they where chasing, violent felony stop if kids hands weren't up or wasn't obeying commands case closed, stupid kid got himself killed! Cop shooting justified.

I also believe that police officers shouldn't issue tickets to other off duty police officers, prison guards, court officials, and civilians, and family in these departments or fire departments full time or volunteer for speeding, illegal parking and minor infractions. The reasoning behind this is. If a police officer don't pay respect to others in their field, or related  fields, what kind of respect do you think police officers are going give the general public?

I also don't have a problem when a police officer lets the handicapped and the elderly slide for minor infractions. I also don't have a problem when police let the business and people who donate their money, goods and services, or give discounted goods and services to police departments, the PBA the youth leagues and other police associations a slide for minor infractions. It goes double for community police, policing  organizations, neighborhood watch, block crime prevention clubs and the sort.

To the contrary, if you don't know whose got your back as a police officer and who you can rely on in the civilian population for help and support and to report crimes and be your eyes and ears you shouldn't be a police officer, cop and if you are, your probably no good at being police officer!

I will give Cheektowaga NY police an A plus when it comes to letting drunks walk home and even giving them lifts at night. I have heard stories of this happening lots of times over the years.

You can't have community trust or police and Cops- Community Orientated Policing  according to the USDOJ  PDF Document on the Need for Integrity for proper Implementation of Community Orientated Policing Policies without police integrity.

(Get Adobe PDF Reader*)

Also, it is my belief that all police departments should have 24/7 video front view, rear view, and in police car front, and police car back seat with GPS recording with audio, and video not controlled by the police officer in the car. Neither should ever be shut off , and the memory unit should not be accessible to that officer either. They should be able to make copies from it, but never delete the original, this would protect police officer, police department, the public, and also last and least the criminals rights.

The Bad...

9-11-2001"A day that will live in Infamy"

I think a lot of problems with youth, especially the poor and black youth stem from unethical treatment and the police sending mixed messages. If youth learns there is no benefit to being truthful and law abiding and what ever you do its just going to be a crap shoot, when it comes to dealings with the police and life, then it becomes every ones problem when these kids get older.

Think about this, this is a great analogy. A Poker Game.

A Married Black Canton Ohio Police officers white unmarried 26 year old lover Jesse Davis, who has one child with the officer and one child on the way is missing and probably dead.

I have said it before that Judges that let child predators go with just probation should be looked at themselves as having the same sick tendencies as those they let go and should not be re-elected or appointed to the bench.

In my opinion It's unethical for police to endanger the lives of the public chasing a vehicle that was not involved in a violent crime, or previous accident, hit and run fatality. Also your life shouldn't depend on the carp shot of where you are located or what agency is involved. The Maryland State police won't even ticket cars on the beltway during rush hour because rubber neckers cause accidents sometimes involving the car pulled over.  The Association of Trial Lawyers of America estimates that federal officials have documented 5,306 deaths during police pursuits in the last 16 years.

Some places in my opinion are just plain police states and the local  police departments run rampant answering to nobody, doing whatever the police officers want, one example in the news being New Orleans Department, but I am not talking about the Police there and I have never been there.

ADA Requirements for Handicapped Parking for all Businesses and Most Government Agencies in USA

This is usually the fault of the police chief and law makers for not implementing proper procedure and oversight and rules in their police departments for the  officer in there department's. I am not talking about the occasional free meal for police officer, or discounted meal for the cop or free coffee for police, cops. Also, I am not talking about police that drive their police car over the posted speed limit or use there police car red light because they don't feel like waiting for the light.

Police, cops that drive with their head lights off at night if your going over 5 miles an hour, especially in residential areas, where kids are located and might be playing street ball or hockey or riding there bikes or crossing the streets. A kid sometimes ends up getting killed and the cop always becomes a basket case.  Wouldn't You be a basket case, if that happened?

Police, cops that smoke pot when they're not at work and advertise it to everyone and everyone knows it. Hey I went to high school with this guy and his brother, I like all of them, but he was always the guy with pot for sale in high school, some things never change, a lot of people use to say hey cool a cop that smokes pot. Good Cop  family. Do they still own that bar? Former employee of mine married into the family good guys! Don't advertise!  Especially if it makes you do illegal things! Hey, if it mellows you out and you keep it to your self at home, you can always say it was a contact buzz from interaction with perps, but I would suggest just getting Prozac and therapy.

Police, cops who hand out there business card to under aged drunk girls or boys when responding to a loud party and tell them, any problems give this to the Police, cops that comes to the door, also call me, in an attempt to get some, especially when the girl, boy  is under 17yrs old. Woman, men over 21yrs of age  fine, but now a days a police officers, cops pay is relatively high, plus with the free or half priced things people give police, cops your dollars goes twice or 3 times as far as others, and in some areas police, cops make a lot more than the average household  income for a whole family in the area that they are patrolling in.

So, there is nothing to be ashamed of,  just ask the woman or man  over the age of consent out no strings.

Police, cops who day jobs (moonlighting job) work is for known or suspected crime figures, drug dealers, gangs, and want-a-bees that own bars, and other businesses (no it's not necessary for the police, cops day job employers to have been convicted or even investigated).

I have tons of respect, but  no great love of these Tony Soprano types, no hate either. I am more indifferent, but I will say these guys work hard at what they do, and  hey I'm not giving away any secrets here, and I have empathy with the position of don't let somebody destroy everything you have worked for. The Soprano Types are more non-judgmental than most, because they are always being accused themselves, and believe it or not they do some good in communities. If you are ever in business, you are going to run across them. Anyways my opinion is your stupid if you snitch or rat on them for any reason if your the general public, it will get back to them, especially when they have police, cops working for them. Is it no wonder, TV and Movies and the general public glamorize them in TV and films

I have no respect for the police, cops that day job is for them, and my day job employer has never been charged, or convicted is not an excuse for you or your department.

Everyone who has lived in a specific area for a number of years knows what the score is and your chief of police or  captain or lieutenant should be approving or disproving all moonlighting with this in mind. Everyone should get approval from someone up the ladder and everything should be reviewed by the police chief monthly. This isn't fool proof either because the best jobs for these people go to the Captains and Lieutenants as far as I have seen, its just these police get the pick of the crop working for the real power at their legitimate businesses. No bar duty for them.

If Police, cops or your department are setting up road blocks or stopping people to target the competition of the bar, restaurant that gives police, cops free drinks. That is a problem. If you let that bar stay open past legal hours and serve under aged drinkers while you turn a blind eye in exchange for free drinks and meals you shouldn't be a police officer, cop, or a Judge.

Illegal actions by police officers, cops repaying or not just ignoring, but approving or encouraging illegal activity or participating in illegal activity for the benefits of the free services or money, that's a problem.

Police, cops  that try to maliciously prosecute you with made up felonies after their Lawyer buddy lost a civil court case to you and you told that lawyer he was worst then Telemarketing scum that take old peoples money.

Police, cops letting biker gangs deal drugs out of their bar, when their not  busy selling fish dinners on Fridays, and beers all the time. Police, cops also letting them beat the heck out of patrons regularly and every time the people or persons they beat up call the police, cops for help, you take the bars workers reason, that person they beat up slipped on the steps. (Not me, because there would have been people with broken legs, arms, and teeth, if I went in there). If that is the truth, you should write up a report stating that lie, with all  names of the bar workers and witness statements, so that person can sue in court that bar for having steps that make people trip and hurt themselves every day or week or so.

Police, cops who never once arrested the neighborhood fence even though he has been in the same place 30 yrs. I knew my former partner in one of my former businesses was stealing from our business the moment I saw the caller ID displaying the name L**** M**** on my caller ID, it seems like the whole neighborhood knew , but the police, cops never figured it out.

The Bad...

Victims of police pursuits say,

The Ugly!

You want a reason for professionalism in policing this video says it all!

I like to take this time and remind everyone this is America we live in. The cops are not a tool of your corrupt no money back company policy and we don't have to make your order right because we have more customers than we can handle policy. Customer complaints are not harassment.

Police departments that harass people walking home from bars at night and charge these people with public intoxication or pat them down for weed when they aren't disturbing the peace or anything else. You want people to leave the car at home or at the parking lot at the bars and to do anything that would make people say f- it! I  will drive drunk, is stupid on the part of cops.

I think a lot of problems with youth, especially the poor and black youth stem from unethical treatment and the police sending mixed messages. If youth learns there is no benefit to being truthful and law abiding and what ever you do its just going to be a crap shoot when it comes to dealings with the police and life, then it becomes every ones problem when these kids get older.

A continuing Story of corruption...

I am amazed to find out just like the grand mother shot to death by Atlanta cops , a bride groom and his buddies where shot to death in a car by NYC cops after coming out of a strip joint for his bachelor party. They where shoot 50 times because his car tried to run over a undercover cop pointing a gun at them.

My question is did theses cops get out of bed in the morning and forget they are not wearing a uniform? If you are under cover as a cop, the rule should be you can only shoot at a suspect if a civilian's life is in mortal danger from the suspect or suspects and your own life is expendable, unless the suspect is escaping from custody after being in your custody first.

LA  and DC Metro and Miami Dade once hired killers and drug dealers as police officers, cops.

Atlanta cops Shoot 92 year old woman after breaking down the door and rushing in. This begs me to ask the question if you have to wait for the warrant, why didn't you wait for swat to serve it?

NYC cops  are usually professional, and even perform as Police Hero's but because of what they have to deal with constantly in some neighborhoods the stress gets to some of the police officers and they go over board on criminals and it ends up plastered in headlines.

Also police, and departments that respond in a threatening manor when you bring up a concern about possible officer misconduct, whether it be about unprofessionallism, training, procedure or criminal conduct, or behavioral problems or stress warning signs. These behaviors can escalate and have unintended consequences, not only for the public...

FBI recommended procedures to investigate complaints about officer misconduct for use by small departments.*

Police, cops that make up a reason to stop you and after they find everything is in order give you a ticket anyways. I will only say this only once.

The best way to gain the trust and admiration of the public is to be fair in your dealings with them. I learned this a long time ago in business, if I could convert the most obnoxious, hard headed, loud mouth, disbelieving person to my side by cutting him a break and being fair or more than fair. I not only would have a customer for life. I would have a champion of my cause for life, that person would go on and tell everyone he meet what a great person, product and business I had, and send people my way almost weekly.

Don't waste traffic stops, which can not only be tools for searching cars and catching criminals (as the case with Bucky), but also by not writing tickets for marginal or non-existing infractions because the driver disagrees with your reason for stopping them, especially when you had to follow that person for miles before they made a driving mistake or you got tired of looking for one and pulled them over. By not writing that ticket, you can make traffic stops a way for getting non-criminals, the general public on your side, the cops side and talking about it.

Police, cops  that follow you more that 3 separate times in a year if your not a criminal, if you tail someone enough times you are going to find something wrong and an excuse to pull them over. Same reasoning against it as above.

When 100 or more officers, cops of the a department fill up and line up in a town meeting and stare down and intimidate an out spoken town board member who is critical of that police department with the blessing of The Former Chief of Police, thus interfering with the process of making law and the civil liberties of every one in that town.  After that, his outspokenness stopped because of the coercion. That's a problem. Hey this was in Buffalo News.

The effect those actions was a bloodless coupe. This is not Uganda or Russia, it is the USA.

If Police, cops or your department are ticketing people for going 1-10 miles over the speed limit your running a ticket mill...

Lockport also has the distinction of SAIA V. PEOPLE OF STATE OF NEW YORK , 334 U.S. 558 (1948) in which the US supreme court set the test for noise laws at decibel level and restricted hours  in 1952 yet almost every local in NY State have illegal  noise laws and disorderly conduct laws that are still being enforced without regard to this ruling and hundreds after it.

Police officers die for there mistakes trying to keep themselves alive while keeping the public safe but are taught and practice staying alive before saving the public. This is why in Columbine CO so many students died. The sheriffs where more worried about their own safety before the kids that where left unprotected. Cops hiding behind dying kids I would call it.  Yes now most police departments tell there officers to go into schools without backup now, but that was because of public outcry.

The sad thing is a lot of people get into law enforcement for the privilege and power of the position and the respect that comes with it. This was so widespread during the Clinton administration that all FBI agents wanted to be in DC, the same with CIA, ATF, DEA and nobody wanted to be in the field because that is not where the power or prestige was. This is why 9-11 wasn't stopped before it happened.

If you've ever read this site, you'll know I really don't believe  racism such as the hate, hate type really still exist except for a few lost souls, but you tell me. Am I wrong? This was a conversation I over heard between a police officer and a black woman.

Wis. deputy flew into rage after rebuff By ROBERT IMRIE, Associated Press Writer CRANDON, Wis. - A young sheriff's deputy who opened fire on a pizza party and killed six people reportedly flew into a rage when he was rebuffed by his old girlfriend, and others at the gathering called him a "worthless pig." This is why I always say your department can't afford to ignore the warning signs of cops that have problems.

New studies have proven that post traumatic stress syndrome and traumatic events are remembered and not forgotten and relived in vivid detail because high doses of adrenalin that the body produces at time of event burns the event into the victims mind. Further studies now have show that taking drugs that block the effect of adrenaline while reliving the event by thinking of the event can actually diminish the memory, so by taking propranolol, such as metoprolol and Toprol Xl you can actually erase the events negative affects from your mind.

A Missouri Judge let a pedophile child rapist that rapped a 9 yr old girl out on probation when the prosecutor asked for 15 yrs prison sentence. In my opinion only a child molester rapist judge would let a child molester rapist walk without any jail time. If he sentenced the molester to jail he would have to see his own sickness in himself and since he probably thinks he is above the law he made a decision that shows his contempt for the law and all that want child molesters in jail.
