It's being reported that Obama will order the federal governments agencies to give Homos the same benefits as married couples that work for the government get.

My only question is what about significant others' unmarried straight people who haven't gotten married?

 Their kids and families and the likes? What he's just going to make Homos a new protected class of people with rights not given to others?

Also  how about when it comes to Medicaid and Medicare?

  I'll give you an example my brother who lost his job at a parts manufacture who shipped the jobs off to China!

 He has been with his girlfriend for  over 8 years now but is receiving unemployment benefits right know when down to get food stamps and Medicaid. It turns out that the Cattaraugus county and the state and probably federal government screw the man over. First they consider them as a couple for food stamps even though technically they could apply separately because she wont eat anything that wasn't in fashion in the 1980' as their apartment has this distinct time period in it also. She also wont eat onions, the same spaghetti sauce and will only eat ball park franks (Ug!)  So most days my brothers down at my apartment eating what I buy and he cooks all her meals the way she likes they i.e.: 1980's style( probably the best time period of her life). While I like my food from all time periods. But on the other hand when it comes to Medicaid and the doctor bills that the Medicaid program pays and the dentist trips, although my brother spends half his income on his woman. The government qualify her for all the benefits of Medicaid after they consider the money my brother gives her and the living expenses he pays of hers and they make payments to doctors for her, but tell him he's not eligible( Shit out of luck you straight white man!).

 The most bullshit thing about this is even when he files separate for benefits they won't back off her expenses and money he gives her off his income even though they require him to sign an statement saying what he gives her so they can calculate it in her income.( They apply the law to screw people out of benefits unequally (Not equal under equal treatment clause of constitution)!

 But if they where married they would both qualify for Medicaid and food stamps equally!

 So my question is are homos that aren't married going to have more rights and not be screwed out of Medicaid and or Medicare like un-married straight couples?

 An also as partners to government employees?

Or do they get special treatment and rights that unmarried straight couples don't get?

Already they get special treatment when it comes to HIV and get all the bills related to that disease paid if they don't have the money, but diseases that only kill ever one equally( and not mostly homo's) are just allowed to kill straight people and homo's equally without the government paying for treatment!
