She wasn't saying that it made her an expert on foreign affairs, even though she probably has entertained delegates from Russia and Canada as the governor of NY entertains delegates from Canada and the province of Ontario and even made an illegal reciprocal agreement with a foreign government over driver license points and suspensions and revocations for the DMV, a power reserved for presidents of the USA! But just so you know my father served in the US Air force in Alaska during the Korean war (police action) and he was given full combat pay, they considered Alaska a combat zone because of it proximity to Korea, Japan, Asia and Russia. So it would be that far fetched that as governor of Alaska you have the barbarians at the gate, so to say. Even now air Alaska's original premise was that they don't fly the full circumfuse of the earth at the lower 48 or lower. They fly north to Alaska from LA or the west coast then down to Asia, which is shorter in distance. In fact any nukes shot from Russia or the USA at each other would go over the arctic and not across the Atlantic or Pacific ocean during a nuclear conflict. That is one reason Alaska is so important to the defense of the USA!

I am also going to call bullshit about that Alaskan trooper being defended by the Alaska legislator. The so-called troopergate!
